Cold Weather Shelter


Because temperatures are expected to drop into the low to mid 30’s, the City of San José will activate all four overnight warming locations for six nights from Wednesday, December 20 through Tuesday, December 26, 2017 (closing on Tuesday morning) to provide refuge to individuals from the cold and wet weather.

VTA has transit lines that go to or very near all warming centers.

The four sites that will be activated are:

Southside Community Center

Roosevelt Community Center
901 E. Santa Clara Street
