Learn about and provide feedback on proposed service options and fares for VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension (Phase I).
As Santa Clara County prepares for the introduction of BART service, BART is reaching out to the public to help tailor future service on VTA's BART Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension.
As BART waits for its new Fleet of the Future, an initial service plan will be implemented for the two new BART stations in Milpitas and the Berryessa District of North San Jose. BART has developed multiple service options and is seeking input on these proposed service plans.
BART staff will be hosting multiple outreach events in September and October to share information and gain public feedback. VTA staff will also be tabling alongside BART to answer questions about the new 10-mile extension. For dates and locations, visit http://www.BART.gov/guide/titlevi.
If you cannot attend an outreach event in person, you can participate in an online survey at http://www.BART.gov/SVsurvey.
VTA is responsible for building the 10-mile, two-station BART Phase I extension and will turn it over to BART to operate and maintain it. Currently, system and train testing are underway. Click here to learn more about the current status of VTA’s BART Phase I extension.
