If you’re traveling on our bus and light rail system you may come across members of our new multi-lingual ambassador street teams.
Since the beginning of February, the teams have been making the rounds at select transit locations to provide customer service and educate riders about VTA's Transit Service Redesign Draft Plan.
Each ambassador street team is made up of three members that will be engaging with riders over the course of ten days. You can spot them easily as they are wearing VTA branded safety vests with “Ask Me” VTA buttons and carrying blue VTA cinch bags. The team members will be giving out Transit Service Redesign maps, blue comment cards and VTA Community Outreach Public Engagement contact information.
Our new multi-lingual ambassador street teams will be providing information throughout next week.
February 20 is when VTA closes the public comment period and then begins to work on resulting service plan.
