San Jose, Calif. -- The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will host two open house meetings to update the public on transportation projects in North Santa Clara County. VTA invites the public to come by and learn more about the projects, ask questions and give input. Project designers, planners and others will be on hand to discuss the following topics:
Light Rail Efficiency Project/Mountain View Double Tracking Project
SR 85 and US 101 Express Lanes
Bus Rapid Transit on El Camino Real
Bus and light rail service in North County
VTA will hold two open houses on Wednesday April 9 at the Mountain View City Hall Council Chambers, 500 Castro Street. The first will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and the second will take place in the evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. You can take VTA to the meetings: bus lines 34, 51 and 52 serve City Hall during the morning meeting and bus line 35 serves it during both meetings.
