Project Scope and Status
Scope: This project is part of continuing program that will replace the 14 Traction Power Substations (TPSS) that were installed at the Guadalupe Corridor, which are now over 20 years old.
Status: Phase 1 new TPSS for Younger Yard and replacement of TPSS 3&4 completed in mid 2015. Phase 2 TPSS 1,5&14 replacement completed in early 2015. Phase 3 was awarded in Oct 2016 (Base:TPSS 2,6;Opt1:13,Opt2:6,8,12); submittals approved & fabrications underway.
