Government Affairs regularly provides information and analysis on state and federal budget and fiscal policy issues to the VTA Board of Directors, cities within Santa Clara County, and stakeholders. These reports describe the potential impacts of proposed budgets and fiscal policy issues on VTA and local jurisdictions.
Government Affairs also issues annual reports covering both the proposed and adopted federal and state budgets. In addition, VTA also provides, on an ad hoc basis, in-depth reports on specific budget and funding issues to inform and educate policymakers, stakeholders and the public.
