Transporting Belongings
Passengers, their companions, and attendants can board a VTA bus or light rail vehicles with packages or groceries that they can carry without the operator’s assistance. Operators are not required to provide assistance to passengers boarding or exiting with baggage or packages. Passengers may not use additional seating on the vehicles to hold extra packages or groceries. Passengers must not allow baggage and packages to block aisles, interfere with boarding and/or off loading, or inconvenience or cause injury to other customers. VTA recommends that customers, their companions, and/or attendants carry no more than two bags per person.
Lost and Found
VTA makes every reasonable attempt to return found property to its rightful owner. Most items found will be kept for 90 days. Persons claiming lost property must present proper identification at the Lost & Found desk and sign for returned items.
The Lost & Found desk located at the VTA Downtown Customer Service Center located at 2 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95113, at the corner of Santa Clara and North First Street.
