Project Development

BART Silicon Valley continues to progress through key project development phases required for capital projects of this magnitude, including  planning, environmental, and engineering phases.

The time needed to complete major stages of project development includes extensive community engagement throughout the process. Community outreach during the environmental review process, city partnership and local neighborhood planning efforts, and preliminary engineering work is helping to build a better transportation solution for Silicon Valley.

BART Silicon Valley is currently in the final stages of the federal environmental process. Agency and stakeholder coordination continuing to occur.
