BART Silicon Valley

Supplemental Environmental Analysis
The BART Silicon Valley Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was certified in 2004. Due to changes in the project design, a Final Supplemental EIR was certified in 2007. VTA will prepare a 2nd Supplemental EIR to address proposed project design changes that have occured since the 1st Final Supplemental EIR was certified. In addition, due to funding availability, the project now will be constructed in phases. Phase 1 would begin at the approved BART Warm Springs Station in Fremont and end in the Berryessa area of San Jose, The 2nd Supplemental EIR will address changes in the project design for Phase 1 only.
