BRT Strategic Plan |
| The BRT Strategic Plan outlines VTAs plan for BRT service in the County and was adopted by the VTA Board of Directors in May 2009. The Plan studied six corridors in the County for possible BRT implementation, and ultimately recommends three of the six corridors for near-term implementation: Santa Clara-Alum Rock, El Camino, and Stevens Creek. The BRT Strategic Plan (available as a PDF via the link below) describes this unique transit mode, introduces a branding strategy for VTA BRT, describes the process for selecting the three near-term BRT corridors, and describes the proposed operating and capital infrastructure components of the projects. |
