Safe Place Program

safe place logoAs a safety measure, a VTA bus operator will offer a “safe place” to any minor in need; including runaways, the homeless, the abused and/or neglected and victims of domestic violence. Any child in need of assistance can ask for or about “Safe Place” and the operator will ensure the child is safe and secure. The operator will then request a pick up for the child or victim, who will be taken to a location that can further assist them such as the Bill Wilson Center, Casa Say or other designated center as needed. ​
