Chuck Page VTA Alternate Board Member
Saratoga City Mayor Chuck Page serves as an alternate member on the VTA Board of Directors representing City Group 3 (the cities of Campbell, Cupertino, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and the town of Los Gatos), having done so since 2008. He is also an alternate member of VTA’s Transit Planning and Operations Committee. Since 2008 he has served as a member of VTA’s Policy Advisory Committee representing Saratoga, and during 2009 he is serving as that committee’s vice chairperson.
Alternate Member Page is a member of the Saratoga City Council, having been elected in 2006. He is serving as Saratoga’s mayor during 2009.
Prior public and civic service includes four years on the Saratoga Planning Commission. His community involvement includes board positions on the Friends of the Saratoga Library (Past President), Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council, Sacred Heart Church’s Parish Council, and Saratoga Rotary. He also served on Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan’s Technology Task Force, was a Business Mentor for an inner city Los Angeles Elementary School and provided logistical and technology leadership support in the aftermath of the Northridge Earthquake.
Alternate Member Page grew up in northern New Jersey, moving to the Bay Area in 1996 after residing for eight years in southern California. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Business Administration, and has worked for companies including IBM and Microsoft.
