Rich Larsen
VTA Board Member

Los Altos Hills Town Council Member Rich Larsen serves on the VTA Board of Directors representing City Group 2 (the North County Cities of Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale), having been appointed in 2010.  He serves on VTA’s Transit Planning and Operations Committee, and is that committee’s vice chairperson for 2010.    He also serves on the Dumbarton Rail Project Policy Advisory Board.

Member Larsen serves on the Los Altos Hills City Council.  He was elected in 2008. 

Prior civic service includes serving as the chairman of both the West Loyola Sewer District and the West Loyola Annexation Committee.  Community service includes serving as a director of HDSA, a benevolent healthcare and charitable institution.  Member Larsen has also been a member of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and serves on the Bay Area Climate Collaborative.

Member Larsen is the Vice President Business Development for 2Wire.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.  He has lived in Santa Clara County for more than 25 years and raised his family here.  He is a past little league coach and scoutmaster, and he and his family participate in the San Jose Triathlon every year.
