Recommended Biennial Budget for Fiscal Years 2008 and 2009 |
Recommendation:
Review and recommend that the VTA Board of Directors approve the Recommended Biennial Budget for Fiscal Years 2008 and 2009.
Background:
On April 27, 2007, the recommended Fiscal Year 2008 and Fiscal Year 2009 Budget was presented to the VTA Board of Directors at a workshop. During the month of May, VTA staff is seeking input from Advisory Committee members and members of the public.
Attached is the biennial Budget for your review. The Budget document encompasses all of the activities under the jurisdiction of the VTA Board including Transit Enterprise Operations and Capital, the Measures A and B Capital programs, the Congestion Management Program and related Valley Transportation Plan (VTP 2030) Highway Program.
The Recommended Biennial Budget will be brought back to the VTA Board of Directors on June 7 for adoption.
Alternatives:
The Technical Advisory Committee may recommend revisions or may choose not to recommend approval of the Recommended Biennial Budget.
