The Committee of the Whole received the Summary Minutes of May 8, 2003, August 14, 2003, and September 11, 2003. 

The Committee of the Whole received and filed the Summary Minutes of October 9, 2003. 

BUSINESS REFERRED TO COMMITTEE BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS/GENERAL MANAGER

The Committee of the Whole appointed Chairperson McNeely and Committee Members Murdter and Tripousis as the Nominating Committee for Chairperson and Vice Chairperson for 2004.

The Committee of the Whole reviewed and commented on the proposed Fare Policy addressing both recovery ratio and pricing/structure goals for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.

The Committee of the Whole reviewed and commented on the 2003 Santa Clara County Congestion Management Program (CMP).

Staff distributed the 2003 Congestion Management Program for Santa Clara County - Review Draft November 2003 booklet.

Staff requested that comments be e-mailed to Chris Augenstein, Principal Transportation Planner, or to the Office of the Board Secretary.  Staff noted that TAC Committee Members not present at the November 13, 2003 TAC Meeting would receive the 2003 Congestion Management Program for Santa Clara County - Review Draft November 2003 booklet by mail.

The Committee of the Whole received the Proactive CMP Reviewed and Approved Projects Quarterly Status Report.

Staff noted that Michael P. Evanhoe, Chief Development Officer, will Retire from Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) mid-December 2003.
