CONSENT AGENDA

The Committee of the Whole deferred the Minutes of March 17, 2005.

The Committee of the Whole received the Monthly Legislative Report for March 2005.

  

REGULAR AGENDA

6.

The Committee of the Whole approved submitting a recommendation to the Board of Directors to adopt the proposed process and criteria for programming Federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) Funds to Local Streets and Roads Rehabilitation Projects in FY 2005-06.

  
7.

The Committee of the Whole approved submitting a recommendation to the Board of Directors to approve the programming of FY 2006 Transportation Fund for Clean Air Program Manager (TFCA 40%) funds to projects and further approved a fund exchange with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) whereby VTA would exchange TFCA 40% funds for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds to be used to fund the Bicycle Expenditure Program (BEP) projects.

The Committee of the Whole received the FY 2005 Second Quarter Transit Operations Performance Report.

The Committee of the Whole received the Progress Report on the Zero Emission Buses (ZEB) Demonstration Program.

The Committee of the Whole received the Programmed Projects Quarterly Monitoring Report from January through March 2005.

The Committee of the Whole received the Framework for Formation of the I-680 Sunol SMART Carpool Lane Joint Powers Authority.

The Committee of the Whole reviewed the Committee Work Plan.

Committee Staff Report There was no Committee Staff Report.

  
14. Chairperson’s Report:   The Committee of the Whole requested staff to poll the Members of the Committee to determine a better date and time for the Committee to meet.
