Appointment to the Committee for Transit Accessibility (CTA) |
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the appointments of Linda Gallo, representing the Los Gatos Senior Center; LeNae Liebetrau, representing the California Department of Rehabilitation and Randy Tamez, representing the Alliance for Community Care to fill existing vacancies on the Committee for Transit Accessibility in the Human Services category.
BACKGROUND:
The Vacancy Announcement was posted in VTAs Public Notices posting boards, City Halls, the media, and on www.vta.org. We also mailed notices and applications to a database developed by VTAs accessible services staff comprised of human service agencies, senior centers, medical services and other programs that serve the senior and disabled communities.
DISCUSSION:
Ms. Gallo, Ms. Liebetrau and Mr. Tamez have satisfied the criteria set forth in the CTA Bylaws and have been nominated by Board Chairperson Ron Gonzales.
