lease relay my appreciation to your coach operator No. 12367 and his boss for his excellent service on route #10 Airport Flyer the evening of Saturday, November 20.
My wife and I had flown to SJC airport and ridden the #10 to the Metro stop, when we discovered that an item was missing. So we stayed on the bus and rode right back to the airport to visit Baggage Services in Terminal A.
After the item was located, we emerged from Baggage Claim for our third and final ride on the #10. The eastbound bus was starting to pull away from the stop. We had resigned to the 15-minute wait for the next bus when the driver stopped the bus, re-opened the doors, and waited for us to board.
It was our same driver who recognized us and felt compassion for us!
While he could have easily pulled away without us, the courtesy of waiting ten or fifteen seconds for us to reach the bus and board it meant the world to us in our stressed, fatigued state.
Because his empathy for the feelings of exhausted travelers trumped rigid adherence to a schedule, this driver deserves an honorable mention. He wouldn't tell me his name, but asked me to simply refer to him by his employee number 12367.
