SAN MARTIN AVENUE CLOSURE

EFFECTIVE APRIL 21, 2008

The following closures will be in effect as indicated, weather and conditions permitting.

San Martin Parking and Roadway Improvement Project

Location

Southern Santa Clara County

Site

San Martin Avenue and Monterey Road

What

Full Road Closure on San Martin Avenue at Monterey Road

When

Beginning April 21, from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., April 23

Activity

Activities include the installation of new rail road track panels and underground infrastructure.

Detour

All traffic west of the intersection (including Monterey Road) wanting to access San Martin Avenue and points east will be detoured on Monterey Road to Middle Avenue (north of the intersection) or Church Street (south of the intersection) to Llagas Avenue to San Martin Avenue.

All traffic east of the intersection wanting to access Monterey Road and points west will be detoured on Llagas Avenue to Middle Avenue (north of the intersection) or Church Street (south of the intersection) to Monterey Road.

Note

Pedestrian access to the train station will be maintained during commute hours.
