San Martin Avenue Closure

SAN MARTIN AVENUE CLOSURE

EFFECTIVE MAY 5, 2008

The following closures will be in effect as indicated, weather and conditions permitting.

San Martin Parking and Roadway Improvement Project
Location	Southern Santa Clara County
Site	San Martin Avenue and Monterey Road
What	Full Road Closure on San Martin Avenue at Monterey Road
When	Beginning 7 A.M. May 5, 2008 through 5 P.M., May 10, 2008
Activity	Activities include underground infrastructure work, installation of new gate arms, demolishing, repaving and restriping the existing roadway.
Detour	All traffic west of the intersection (including Monterey Road) wanting to access San Martin Avenue and points east will be detoured on Monterey Road to Middle Avenue (north of the intersection) or Church Avenue (south of the intersection) to Llagas Avenue to San Martin Avenue. All traffic east of the intersection wanting to access Monterey Road and points west will be detoured on Llagas Avenue to Middle Avenue (north of the intersection) or Church Avenue (south of the intersection) to Monterey Road.
Note	Pedestrian access to the train station will be maintained during commute hours.
