This page provides VTA reroute information. Please note that with all reroutes, Operators will observe all coach stops along reroute and also observe all stop requests when safe.

Guerrero Fan Festival and Car Show

When: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18th

LINE 68 NORTHBOUND: From Gilroy Transit Center, buses will turn left on Old Gilroy, right on Monterey, left on 6th, right on Eigleberry, right on 4th, left on Monterey to regular route

LINE 68 SOUTHBOUND: From Monterey, buses will turn right on 4th, left on Eigleberry, L6th, right on Monterey, into Gilroy Transit Center

Color Run

When: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 18th

Why: 5K Walk and Run
Street Closures: Santa Clara, between Market and Julian
                            San Fernando, between Market and Almaden
                            Almaden, between Park and Santa Clara
Routes Effected:  LINES 22, 63, 64, 68, 181, 522 & MST 55

LINES 22 & 522 WESTBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon): From Santa Clara, buses will turn right on 1st, right on St. John, right on 2nd, right on San Carlos, right on Race, left on The Alameda to regular route.

LINES 22 & 522 EASTBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon):   From The Alameda, buses will turn right   on Race, left on San Carlos, left on 1st, right on Santa Clara to regular route.

LINE 63 NORTHBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.): From Race, buses will turn right on San Carlos, left on Montgomery, onto Autumn, left on San Fernando, right on Cahill, left into Diridon Transit Center, right on Cahill, left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, left on San Carlos, left on 1st, right on San Fernando to regular route.

LINE 63 NORTHBOUND (12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.): From Cahill, buses will turn left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, left on San Carlos, left on 1st, right on San Fernando to regular route.

LINE 63 SOUTHBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.): From San Fernando, buses will turn left on Market, right on San Carlos, right on Montgomery, onto Autumn, left on San Fernando, right on Cahill, left on into Diridon Transit Center, right on Cahill, left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, right on San Carlos, left on Race to regular route.

LINE 63 SOUTHBOUND (12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.): From San Fernando, buses will turn left on Market, right on San Carlos, right on Montgomery, onto Autumn, left on San Fernando, right on Cahill to regular route.

LINE 64 NORTHBOUND, MST 55 SOUTHBOUND (6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.): From Diridon Transit Center, buses will turn right on Cahill, left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, left on San Carlos, left on 1st, right on San Fernando to regular route.

LINE 64 SOUTHBOUND, MST 55 NORTHBOUND (6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.):  From San Fernando, buses will turn left on Market, right on San Carlos, right on Montgomery, onto Autumn, left on San Fernando, right on Cahill, left into Diridon Transit Center to regular route.

LINE 68 NORTHBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon):  From 1st, buses will turn right on Santa Clara, right on 2nd, right on San Carlos, right on Montgomery, onto Autumn, right on Cahill, left into Diridon Transit Center, right on Cahill to temporary stop F/S Diridon Station passenger drop off dwy.

LINE 68 SOUTHBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon):  From stop on Cahill, buses will turn left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, left on San Carlos, left on 1st, right on Santa Clara, right on 2nd to regular route.

EXPRESS 181 SOUTHBOUND (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.):  From 2nd, buses will turn right on San Carlos, right on Montgomery, onto Autumn, left on San Fernando, right on Cahill, left into Diridon Center.

EXPRESS 181 NORTHBOUND (7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.): From Diridon Transit Center, buses will turn right on Cahill, left on San Fernando, right on Montgomery, left on San Carlos, left on 1st to regular route.

Save Our Sports 5K Run

When: 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Sunday, May 19
City:  San Jose
Why: 5K Walk and Run
Street Closures: South White, between Tully and Martin
Routes Effected:  LINE 71 Northbound Only

LINE 71 NORTHBOUND: From White, buses will make a left on Tully, right on Capitol, right on Ocala, left on White to regular route.

Amgen Tour of California Bicycle Race

When: 5:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday, May 17th
City:  San Jose
Why: Amgen Tour
Routes Effected:  LINE 68

LINE 68 NORTHBOUND:   From Hale, buses will make a right on Tilton, left on Monterey, right on Bernal, right on Santa Teresa to regular route. 

LINE 68 SOUTHBOUND:   From Santa Teresa, left on Bernal, left on Monterey, right on Tilton, left on Hale to regular route.

Reroute of Line 25

The main Valley Medical Center bus stops for Line 25 on Renova Drive are being relocated due to construction. Construction is expected to last until through the end of 2013. Read more...
