Light rail Weekend Closures

CONVENTION CENTER STATION CLOSED

Why: Due to track maintenance at the Convention Center Station, light rail service will not operate between the Paseo de San Antonio and Children’s Discovery Museum stations. Substitute bus service “Bus Bridge” will be provided for passengers traveling between the Paseo de San Antonio,Convention Center and Children’s Discovery Museum Stations.

When: Beginning at 10:30 p.m. on Friday until the end of service on Sunday on the following weekends:

Weekends only:  October 23-25, 2009  
                           October 30- November 1, 2009 
                          November 6-8, 2009

Stations Affected:  Paseo de San Antonio
                             Convention Center
                             Children’s Discovery Museum

Alternate Service:  Follow the signs to the “Light Rail Bus Bridge” adjacent to these three stations. VTA urges riders that will be affected by these station closures to allow extra time for their trip during these weekend closures, as the bus service between stations may cause a short delay for them.
