Vasona Light Rail Service Interruption and Bus Bridge

Due to construction activities at the Hamilton Light Rail Station, light rail service on the Mountain View - Winchester line will be interrupted between the Winchester and Bascom stations on Sep. 26-27 and Oct. 3-4.  The Alum Rock – Santa Teresa line will not be affected.

During the service disruptions, trains from Mountain View will terminate and turn around at the Bascom Station. A bus bridge will be used to connect the Bascom, Hamilton, Campbell and Winchester stations. In order to allow northbound trains to leave Bascom Station on time, buses will be scheduled to leave the Winchester, Campbell and Hamilton Stations earlier than the normal light rail times. Special bus bridge departure schedules will be posted at these stations.

The bus bridge stops for each direction will be as follows:

Northbound

Winchester: At Winchester Transit Center (paratransit stop).
Campbell: On Eastbound Orchard City Near side light rail tracks
Hamilton: On Northbound Creekside Nearside Hamilton
Bascom: In parking lot adjacent to station platform

Southbound

Bascom: In parking lot adjacent to station platform
Hamilton: On Southbound Creekside Far side Hamilton
Campbell: On Eastbound Orchard City Near side light rail tracks
Winchester: At Winchester Transit Center (paratransit stop).
