New in 2010: Online VTA Pass Sales

Agency's e-Commerce Officially Offers VTA Monthly Passes

San Jose, Calif. –The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is making it easier for customers to purchase VTA passes with its updated e-Commerce website. Online users now have a new way of purchasing VTA monthly passes by visiting www.vta.org/store.  Users simply select their choice of monthly passes and check out.  It’s a fast and convenient process. Instead of going to retail outlets, VTA sales locations, or using the mail, VTA passengers can log on and save time. 

The following monthly passes are now available for purchase online: 
            Adult                                          $70.00
            Adult Express                          $140.00
            Youth                                         $45.00
            Senior/Disabled Sticker*           $25.00
 
VTA accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover cards, and debit cards displaying the Visa or Mastercard logo. A small shipping and handling fee of $1.50 will also be applied.  VTA will mail passes to recipients within two business days following receipt of payment.  It is recommended that passengers order their VTA pass early to ensure that it is delivered before the end of the month.
