Regular VTA Service Scheduled on Veterans Day

Bus Reroutes in Downtown San Jose During Annual Parade

San Jose, CA – The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will operate regular light rail and bus service on Veterans Day this Friday, November 11, 2011. During the Annual Veterans Day Parade occurring in downtown San Jose between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., VTA Bus Lines 11, 22, 63, 64, 65, 68, 81, 180, 522 and DASH will be rerouted. Other transit services will operate as follows:

ACE Train/Shuttles  Regular Schedule
Light Rail Shuttles (IBM/Hitachi, DASH)   Regular Schedule
Dumbarton Express     Regular Schedule
Highway 17 Express*    Regular Schedule
MST 55*   Regular Schedule
Caltrain                                                                      Regular Schedule

*reroutes also in affect for these lines due to parade

In observance of Veterans Day, VTA’s administration offices at 3331 North First Street in San Jose will be closed. VTA’s Downtown Customer Service Center at 2 North First Street and Call Center will be open regular hours. If you need transit trip assistance, please contact VTA Customer Service at (408) 321-2300, TTY only (408) 321-2330.
