VTA Asks Community for Input to Improve Eastridge Transit Center

WHO:  Santa Clara County residents and the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). 

WHAT:  VTA invites all interested persons and agencies to an open house to provide their input regarding the Eastridge Transit Center Improvement and Access Plan. In addition to speaking with project team members, the public will have the opportunity to review technical studies and input collected through surveys. Community members will learn about pedestrian and bicycle access issues and proposed improvements to Capitol Expressway and Eastridge Transit Center. The next steps for the study and additional ways for the public to get involved will also be discussed.

WHY:  VTA seeks public input on planned efforts for improving the Eastridge Transit Center.    

Eastridge Transit Center Improvement and Access Plan

The purpose of the Eastridge Transit Center Improvement and Access Plan study is to enhance the safety and comfort of the transit center and improve access for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit passengers.
