Eastridge Bus Stops Relocated During Roadway Repairs

No Impact to Service, Transit Center Parking Affected

WHO: Bus riders who use the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Eastridge Transit Center, including bus riders who drive and park in the Eastridge Transit Center parking lot.
WHAT: Concrete repairs to the eastern side of the transit center will require all bus stops to be located along the western side of the existing bus shelters; a relocation of less than 20 feet for many routes. Multilingual signs will help direct passengers during the temporary relocation, and ambassadors will be on site during peak travel hours.
WHEN: Friday, June 12, through Friday, June 19, 2009.
WHY: The concrete at the Eastridge Transit Center is in need of repair.
