VTA Service Impacted by Sunday’s Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon

Most Routes in Downtown San Jose—Including Line 22—to be Rerouted

WHO: VTA passengers.
 
WHAT: Most VTA bus routes in downtown San Jose will be impacted by the Rock and Roll San Jose 1/2 Marathon. On Sunday, 13 different bus routes will be impacted, while 4 routes will be affected on Saturday as race preparations are made. VTA will cancel individual reroutes when possible to do so. Route-by-route information is available at www.vta.org. 
    
VTA light rail service will experience minor service delays on Sunday morning.
 
WHEN: Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, 2009.
 
WHERE: Downtown San Jose
 
WHY: The circuitous route of the 1/2 Marathon impacts most bus routes in downtown San Jose.
