QUESTION: Why are cookies used on the site?
The VTA Procurement site uses session cookies to record whether or not a user has logged in. No sensitive information is recorded in the cookie, and the cookie is erased as soon as you quit your browser.
If you are not willing to allow your browser to accept cookies, you should be able to access the information and tools on the site, but will be asked to login again each time you access a page requiring login. However, please keep in mind that the site is designed to work with cookies enabled and we cannot guarantee that it will function completely with cookies disabled.
