Do look both ways before crossing the tracks and stand back away from the tracks.
Do cross only at designated crossings.
Do double check. Trains might be closer than you think or moving faster than they appear.
Do mind all traffic and warning signals and stay alert. Trains can come from either direction.
Do stand behind the yellow warning line at station platforms.
Do be aware and listen to instructions given during your ride.
Do hold firmly onto poles, straps or handrails if you must stand.
Do watch your step getting on and off trains.
Do not proceed across tracks until you see the "walk" signal.
Do not pass between or around stopped trains.
Do not trespass on train tracks. They are a dangerous and an illegal place to walk or play.
Do not rely on your hearing to tell you if a train is coming. Trains are very quiet.
Do not EVER try to outrun a train.
Do not lean against doors
Do not run on platforms.
Do not "horse around" on platforms or near tracks.
