VTAs Bus Stop Improvement Program
VTA Seeks Passenger Input for Bus Stop Improvement Program
Do you know of a bus stop in need of repair or an upgrade? We want to hear from you!
With approximately 3,600 bus stops located throughout Santa Clara County, VTA is seeking input from its bus and light rail passengers to help identify bus stops in need of improvement.
VTA’s Bus Stop Improvement Program will include ADA accessibility enhancements such as widening and extending sidewalks, increasing passenger waiting pads, providing additional lighting or bench seating areas at bus stops and repairing bus pavement. Improvements could also include providing adequate sidewalk width for deployment of a lift or ramp for bus access by persons using a mobility device.
This program is funded by anticipated grants from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), with additional funding provided by VTA local funds.
To recommend a bus stop for improvement, please submit the following information to VTA Customer Service via email at customer.service@vta.org or call (408) 321-2300 or TTY at (408) 321-2330.
