Tips for Riding on VTA Buses
9. Safe Place
All VTA buses and Light Rail
trains are "safe places."
If someone is bothering you
or threatening you, you can
enter the vehicle and ask
the driver to obtain
needed help. The
driver will contact
the proper
authorities for
assistance.
As a safety measure
and to save you time,
a VTA bus driver can stop
at a location that is closer
to your final destination than
the regular stop. This service
is available after evening
peak hours until the morning
rush hour only, when and
where the driver feels it is
safe to pull over.
