Tips for Riding on VTA Buses

9. Safe Place All VTA buses and Light Rail trains are "safe places." If someone is bothering you or threatening you, you can enter the vehicle and ask the driver to obtain needed help. The driver will contact the proper authorities for assistance.     As a safety measure and to save you time, a VTA bus driver can stop at a location that is closer to your final destination than the regular stop.
