Milpitas Community Based Transportation Plan Study Area Map
The project area is the entire city of Milpitas covering approximately 13.5 square miles. It is generally bound by Dixon Landing Road to the north, Coyote Creek and McCarthy Boulevard to the east, Piedmont Road to the west, and Montague Expressway to the south. Interstate 880 and Interstate 680, running north-south, cuts through the western and eastern portion of the city respectively. State Route 237 crosses both freeways to the north while Montague Expressway cuts through to the south. Two major east-west streets cross through the study area, Calaveras Boulevard and Montague Expressway, from north to south. Two major north-south streets cut through the study area, McCarthy Boulevard and Park Victoria Drive, from west to east. VTAs Light Rail line and stations are shown along with the future BART right-of-way running north-south of the city.
