VTP 2040 Community Outreach Implementation Plan
The Community Outreach Implementation Plan is a framework for providing stakeholders, the public, and project sponsors the opportunity for early and ongoing engagement in the planning process for VTP 2040. The goal of the plan is to inform as many people as possible about future transportation projects and elicit feedback about project priorities.
Staff will reach out to people from diverse backgrounds, locations, and interests. Every effort will be made to ensure that meetings are accessible to anyone who would like to participate by providing physically accessible locations, language translation when appropriate, and alternate methods of involvement such as webcasts, and social media. In addition, special steps will be taken to elicit feedback from minority, low income, and other groups that do not normally participate in the planning process.
VTA is holding four public meetings to listen and share information in regards to Valley Transportation Plan 2040. These meetings will have the same format and content.
