The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) {42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq., Stats 327} protects against discrimination based on physical, cognitive, visual or perceived disabilities. Recognizing the importance and value of all people in America’s society, the ADA protects the access of all people to public services including transportation and employment opportunities.

VTA bus and light rail services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. Check out How the ADA Works for You to learn more about VTA and the ADA.
