9/5-8, Light Rail weekend work on N. First Street between Younger Avenue & Hedding Street.

WHEN: Saturday, September 5, 2020 starting at 4:00 AM through Tuesday, September 8, 2020, 3:00 AM (round the clock) Weather, scheduling, and conditions permitting.  
 
WHAT: Light rail crossover track replacement. 
 
VTA TRANSIT IMPACTS: Labor Day Weekend bus bridge will be in place September 5-7, between Gish and Santa Clara stations. 
 
COMMUNITY IMPACTS: Traffic control measures including inside lane closures will be in place. Please use extra caution in the construction zone and be aware of flagmen, signage, barricades, and cones. There will be noise, lights, dust, and construction vehicles driving forward and in reverse with the accompanying beeping noise that is required by OSHA for safety.
