What

The Cunningham Avenue and Capitol Expressway intersection will be closed for overnight work. No East or Westbound through traffic will be allowed.

Why

Crews will be installing the falsework bridge over the intersection, connecting both sides of the superstructure.

Detour

To reach WB Cunningham Avenue: Continue south on Capitol Expressway, U-turn at Tully Road, right onto Cunningham Avenue.

To reach EB Cunningham Avenue: Continue north on Capitol Expressway, U-turn at Story Road, right onto Cunningham Avenue.

Community Impacts

Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering, items dropping, and back-up alarms. Residents may also see lights, necessary to illuminate the worksite.
