Southbound Capitol Expressway (between Cunningham Avenue and Tully Road) will be closed, with detours in place. Crews require a full road closure at night to complete this work safely, with minimal impact on traffic.
Crews will be removing falsework from the Superstructure in the median of the expressway.
Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering, items dropping/clanging, and backup alarms from heavy equipment. Residents may also see lights necessary to illuminate the worksite.
