Northbound Capitol Expressway (between Story Road and S. Capitol Avenue) will be closed with detours in place.
Crews will be installing rebar and pouring concrete onto the superstructure in the median of the intersection. Crews require a full road closure at night to complete this work safely, with minimal impacts to traffic.
Adjacent community members may hear construction noises, including voices, hammering,
items dropping/clanging, and backup alarms from heavy equipment. Residents may also see lights necessary to illuminate the worksite.
