What
While working in the median of Capitol Expressway, between Story Road and Capitol Avenue, contractors hit a 2" gas line. This action closed traffic in all directions. PG&E is on site to fix the leak. SJPD and SJFD are also on-site to support. The project has placed signage to help guide motorists through the corridor. As of 3:30 PM, Southbound lanes are open. A complete re-opening of Capitol Expressway is expected by 9:30 PM.
