WHEN:
Work will take place intermittently from March 23—June 19, 2020 weekdays & weekends. Weather, scheduling, and conditions permitting.
WHAT:
Installation of track and overhead poles and wire to VTA Light Rail tracks.
VTA TRANSIT IMPACTS:
VTA will continue to operate its regular weekday and weekend Light Rail service. For safety, trains will travel more slowly through construction areas.
COMMUNITY IMPACTS:
Traffic control measures including street/lane closures, detours, and sidewalk closures will be in place. Please use extra caution in the construction zone and be aware of flagmen, signage, barricades, and cones. There will be noise, lights, dust, and construction vehicles driving forward and in reverse with the accompanying beeping noise that is required by OSHA for safety.
