What

VTA and Caltrans are working nights (8 PM–5 AM) along SR 85 between Fremont Avenue and Snell Road as part of the SR 85 Noise Reduction Program.

What to Expect:

  • Removing and replacing concrete median barriers
  • Grinding and repaving with sound-reducing pavement
  • Upgrading drains, curbs, joint seals, striping, and guardrails
  • Removing outdated electrical equipment

Work Zones:

  • Near Snell Ave, Saratoga Ave, and Fremont Ave

Detour

The northbound SR 85 on-ramp at Saratoga Avenue will be closed nightly (8 PM–5 AM). Please follow detour signs.
