Bridge & Structure Work

Work continues on major bridge elements, mostly off the roadway:

Southbound US 101–Eastbound SR 25 Connector

  • Abutment and footing work
  • Pile driving earlier in the week

Route 25 / US 101 Overcrossing Work

  • Crews are building vertical support walls that help hold up the bridge.
  • Workers are installing large underground support columns (piles) that form the foundation of the new overcrossing.

What residents will notice

  • Construction noise during approved hours
  • Activity set back from live traffic lanes

Environmental Monitoring

  • Paleontological and archaeological monitors are on site whenever crews dig deeper than 3 feet or work near sensitive areas.
  • This is standard compliance work and continues through the week, except on holidays.
