VTA is advising motorists of night work and ongoing construction activity related to the US-101/SR-25 Interchange Improvements.
Crews will be mobilizing equipment into the median to support bridge foundation work. Drivers should expect delays and reduced speeds through the work zone.
While no closures are scheduled early in the week, drivers may see crews and equipment working near the SR-25 and US-101 interchange as part of ongoing construction. Activities include:
- Bridge foundation work and pile installation
- Construction access improvements
- Earthwork and environmental monitoring
- Surveying and stormwater compliance inspections
These activities will not impact traffic but may be visible from the roadway.
Driver Tips
- Slow down and watch for crews working at night.
- Allow extra travel time during the overnight closure on December 4β5.
- Follow posted construction signs and use caution when traveling through the area.
