-UPDATE- Overnight US-101 Closures 3/30-4/6 (Overcrossing demolition)

-UPDATE- Weather and conditions permitting, the north and southbound US-101 at De La Cruz/Trimble interchange will be closed overnight, beginning March 30, 2023, for demolition of the old De La Cruz overcrossing above US-101.

Detour

Southbound US-101 lanes will be closed on March 30-31, between 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, nightly: Traffic will be diverted off the freeway at the southbound off-ramp to De La Cruz Blvd. / Trimble Rd. exit and right back to the southbound on-ramp to US 101. 

Northbound US-101 lanes will be closed from April 3-6, between 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, nightly: Traffic will be diverted off the freeway at the northbound off-ramp to De La Cruz Blvd. / Trimble Rd. exit and right back to the northbound on-ramp to US 101.

During the freeway closures, De La Cruz Blvd will be closed between Central Expressway to Seaboard Avenue beginning March 30, from 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM, nightly.

Traffic Impacts

For the safety of the public and construction workers, traffic control measures will be used when needed. Information and warning signs will be posted to ensure safety. Construction crews will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, businesses, and neighbors.
