Weekend US 101/De La Cruz Blvd. Ramp Closures  (February 3-6)

Weather and conditions permitting, a weekend closure of the De La Cruz Blvd. to southbound US-101 on-ramp, and the southbound US-101 to De La Cruz Blvd off-ramp will occur. Detour signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.

Why

Project contractors will be performing grading, paving, and striping to shift traffic to the new north half of De La Cruz Boulevard Overcrossing.

Community Impacts

For the safety of the public and construction workers, traffic control measures will be used when needed. Information and warning signs will be posted to ensure safety. Construction crews will make every effort to minimize inconvenience to motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, businesses, and neighbors.

Traffic Impacts

Temporary and new traffic signals will be activated to open the on and off ramps to the new alignment starting 2/6/22.

Once traffic is shifted to the new permanent portion of the overcrossing, demolition of the old overcrossing will begin.
