Here’s an important update to the parking facilities at the Milpitas and Berryessa Transit Centers.

VTA's lot operator, ACE Parking, will deploy refreshed signs throughout the surface lots and parking garages. This will improve clarity and support the rollout of our new scan-to-pay (STP) and text-to-pay (TTP) payment options. Signs will be printed in three languages, English, Spanish, and Vietnamese, and include wayfinding and payment methods. Here’s what you need

 What’s changing

•  We’re updating signage to improve clarity, consistency and payment options.
• We’re launching scan-to-pay and text-to-pay capability, allowing customers to initiate and complete payments via a scan and text message. This aims to speed transactions and deliver more mobile payment options for our customers.

Why this matters

• Improve customer experience at every touchpoint, from selecting payment options to completing the transaction.
• Reduces confusion and support inquiries related to parking payments.

What to expect

• Installation team will begin replacing or updating signage the week of September 1st.
• The new scan-to-pay and text-to-pay flow will be launched the week of September 8th.
• ACE Parking will have staff on-site to help guide customers through the new scan to pay (STP) and text to pay (TTP) payment options.
