In an effort to reduce freeway traffic noise, VTA is proposing the construction of new sound walls on I-280 between State Route 87 and Los Gatos Creek in San Jose. Construction on this project is scheduled to begin in 2023.

You are invited to join us for a virtual presentation on the project as the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and City of San Jose staff provide project updates.  The presentation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will include an overview of the project location, features, and schedule. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
