At VTA, we have a special place in our hearts for our transit drivers. Whether bus, light rail, or paratransit drivers, they are our front-line workers, always there…rain or shine, serving our community with a transportation lifeline. 

Friday, March 18 is their day. Transit Driver Appreciation Day.  In fact, in Santa Clara County, Supervisor Otto Lee (a VTA board member) and his fellow Supervisors have officially declared March 18 VTA Transit Driver Appreciation Day.

We’ll be showing our drivers a little extra appreciation on March 18, and we invite our passengers to join us by sending a note or making a phone call to our Customer Service Line to let your driver know they’re valued.  Email Customer.Service@VTA.org, or call 408-321-2300 and give your transit operator a little shout out of appreciation.
