The state’s largest COVID-19 vaccination site, Levi’s Stadium, is a central stop on VTA’s light rail system.  With a temporary “no fare required” policy in place, passengers have access to free, roundtrip public transit to the mass vaccination site via VTA’s Orange Line (Alum Rock to Mountain View) or Green Line (Winchester to Old Ironsides.) Trains run every 20 minutes on both lines, and Levi’s Stadium is adjacent to the “Great America” station.

Bus fare is also temporarily suspended because of rear-door boarding, with three bus lines serving Levi’s including line 55, line 57 and line 59.

The County of Santa Clara Health System is partnering with the San Francisco 49ers football team on the new appointment-only vaccination location. The site provides vaccinations for any county resident over the age of 65 and eligible health care workers regardless of their healthcare provider or insurance. To sign up, residents should go to www.sccfreevax.org.
